Tijdens de slotavond van de Holland Film Meeting heeft Metro de Binger Filmlab Award gewonnen voor het meest veelbelovende Nederlandse project op de internationale co-productie markt voor nieuwe speelfilms. De jury bestond uit Jovan Marjanovic (Head of Industry CineLink) en Helena Danielsson (Hepp Film).

In augustus was Metro ook al geselecteerd voor het internationale co-productieplatform van het Nordic Film Event in het Noorse Haugesund.
